Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CN Europlan Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202123586W, 6001 Beach Road, #22-01 Golden Mile Tower, Singapore 199589) handles personal data. We are governed by Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). It covers this website and the enquiries we receive through it.
What we collect
When you use the quote form. Your name and email address, which are required, and your company, phone number and the project details you write, which are optional or supplied by you. We collect nothing else from that form.
When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp. Whatever you choose to send us, and the contact details you send it from.
When you visit any page. Our hosting provider records standard technical information — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — in server logs. We do not link this to any individual, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media tracking. There is nothing to consent to and no preferences to manage. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site against automated abuse.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote, programme or proposal, to carry out work you engage us for, and to keep the business and tax records Singapore law requires us to keep. We do not use your data for any other purpose without asking you first.
Consent, and withdrawing it
By sending us an enquiry you consent to our using your data for the purposes above. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to the address at the foot of this page. We will act on it, and we will tell you if withdrawing consent means we can no longer provide something you have asked for. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our correspondence:
- Formspree — delivers quote form submissions to our inbox and retains a copy in our account.
- Cloudflare — hosts and serves this website, and keeps the server logs described above.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces this site uses. Your browser requests them directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Our email provider — stores the correspondence between us.
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to our professional advisers where necessary.
Transfers outside Singapore
The providers above operate servers outside Singapore, so your data is transferred overseas. Under the PDPA’s Transfer Limitation Obligation we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that a recipient is bound to a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, through the contractual terms we accept with each provider.
We also have offices in Germany, the United Kingdom, Romania and Vietnam. Where a project is staffed from one of them, the people working on it may see the project correspondence.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not lead to a project is deleted within 24 months of our last contact with you. Where we are engaged, we keep project records for the engagement and then for five years, the period Singapore law requires business and tax records to be kept. We stop retaining personal data once it no longer serves the purpose it was collected for and no legal requirement to keep it applies.
How we protect it
Access to enquiries and project correspondence is limited to the people who need it to do the work. Accounts require individual credentials, and the website is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold.
If something goes wrong
If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause significant harm, or that affects 500 or more individuals, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and the affected individuals as required by the PDPA, no later than three calendar days after we assess the breach to be notifiable.
Your rights
You may ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and how we have used or disclosed it in the past year.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent to our further use of it.
- Transmit data you provided to another organisation, where the PDPA’s data portability provisions apply.
Write to the contact below. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible, and we will tell you if we need longer. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act, and a small fee may apply to an access request, which we will tell you about before we do the work.
Marketing
We do not send marketing messages to people who have only enquired. If we ever send marketing to a Singapore telephone number, we will check the Do Not Call Registry first and honour any opt-out.
