Part of the advance works ahead of the T5 substructure at Changi East. TM5 is a junction improvement: the layout is rebuilt to carry construction traffic to the T5 site while the road stays open.
Road corridor
Junction geometry and alignment, vertical levels and crossfalls, kerbs and edge lines, rigid and flexible pavement build-up, mill and patch to the existing carriageway, road markings, and the earthworks tying the new formation into existing ground.
Roadside
Road signs, traffic lights, street lights, CCTV with their ducting and foundations, concrete barriers, security fencing and gates, tree felling and turfing.
Drains and utilities
Gullies, chambers, pipe levels and outfalls, and the underground services crossing the junction — all modelled against the road formation before excavation.
Multidisciplinary coordination
The disciplines arrive from different design offices in different formats and at different times. We bring them into one model on a common coordinate system and datum.
Clash control
Each discipline is checked against the others and every clash closed with the office that owns it. Each stage is modelled in the sequence it will be built, with the temporary arrangement alongside the permanent one, so staging can be checked against the traffic management before a lane is closed.
