What is BIM coordination?
BIM coordination is the process of combining discipline models into one federated environment and systematically checking them against each other for spatial, system and constructability conflicts. Rather than discovering that a duct runs through a beam — or that two services compete for the same ceiling void — during construction, the conflict is identified, assigned and resolved digitally.
The result is a clash-free, construction-ready model that everyone on the project can trust: designers, engineers, the main contractor and the trades on site.

We agree the coordination scope, model origins, naming conventions, LOD requirements and the clash matrix, in line with your BIM Execution Plan.
Discipline models are received on an agreed cadence, validated for quality, and assembled into the federated model.
We run the clash tests, then group and prioritize results so the team reviews real conflicts, not duplicates or tolerable overlaps.
We host coordination meetings, assign each issue to the responsible party, and capture decisions.
Disciplines update their models; we re-run the tests to confirm fixes. Once clash-free against the agreed matrix, the model is approved for construction.
