Fire protection BIM modelling represents sprinkler networks, suppression systems, pumps, tanks, valves, hose reels and associated equipment. Routes and components are developed against design information, coverage requirements and the agreed project LOD.

Coordination cannot be reduced to avoiding physical intersections. Sprinkler discharge patterns, valve access, fire-rated construction, maintenance zones and interfaces with ceilings or services all affect whether the installation remains workable.

CNE places fire protection information within the multidisciplinary model and resolves conflicts with structure, architecture and MEP systems. Decisions are recorded so spatial changes do not quietly undermine the approved design intent.
