Structure defines what every other discipline can occupy.

Structural BIM modelling represents the foundations, columns, walls, beams, slabs, steel framing, connections and reinforcement that carry the building. The model develops from analytical intent into coordinated geometry and, where required, fabrication-level information.

Errors at this layer spread quickly. A shifted column changes partitions and façades, an unmodelled beam drop blocks services, and an opening added without structural review can compromise both coordination and design.

CNE approaches the work as structural engineers, not geometry operators. We read the design logic, challenge inconsistencies and maintain clear interfaces with architecture, MEP systems and specialist fabricators.

Piles, pile caps, footings, ground beams, retaining elements and foundation interfaces are developed from approved design information.

Concrete frame

Columns, walls, beams, slabs, ramps and openings are modelled with levels, offsets and member relationships clearly controlled.

Framing, bracing, plates and connection zones are represented to the agreed level for coordination or detailed delivery.

Reinforcement modelling

Rebar geometry, laps, couplers, congestion zones and bending information can be developed for review and production needs.

Builderwork coordination

Penetrations, cast-ins, embeds and equipment loads are checked against structure before openings and supports are finalised.

Coordinated plans, sections, schedules, details and model extracts are produced from a controlled structural dataset.
