Structural BIM modelling represents the foundations, columns, walls, beams, slabs, steel framing, connections and reinforcement that carry the building. The model develops from analytical intent into coordinated geometry and, where required, fabrication-level information.
Errors at this layer spread quickly. A shifted column changes partitions and façades, an unmodelled beam drop blocks services, and an opening added without structural review can compromise both coordination and design.

Penetrations, cast-ins, embeds and equipment loads are checked against structure before openings and supports are finalised.
